WHAT YOU WILL BE
DOING ONCE THE GROUPS ARE SET UP: Navigator- Your
job will be to find out the following: distance
from the sun, and size of the planet Explorer- Your
job will be to find out the following: life on the
planet and atmosphere Scientist- Your
job will be to find out the following: temperature
and chemical make-up(types of gases found on the
planet and if the planet has rings or
not) Astrologer- Your
job will be to find out the following: number and
name of moons and color of the planet ******This is
what you must do once you have your groups and
jobs. 1. Your group
will get together and use the media provided by
your teacher to find out the facts about your
planet. 2. As a group
you will decide how you will present the
information you have found. Try to be creative and
original. If you need help ask the teacher for some
additional ideas. 3. Your group
will need to let the teacher know what project you
decided to do and ask for the necessary supplies
for your project. 4. When your
group finishes you will present your project in
front of the class. Your group will also be
evaluated by the teacher and your classmates, using
a rubric given to you by your teacher.
